None of the above

None of the above, section. Transcription from the CD by KS (update summer 2016). The notation of bar 12 in 9/8 corresponds with how long these notes last at this point. In 2025 I came across the original score of "None of the above" on YouTube. The example above corresponds with bars 26-30. It shows that:
- Zappa used a 16th note as time unit instead of an eighth note.
- The meter got notated as 7/8 instead of 4/16 (or 4/8 in my example).
- There are more harmony notes involved in it than I managed to hear.
- The accelerando effect isn't prescribed in the original score.
- Bar 12 in my example corresponds with a triplet plus a quarter note in the original score. Because of the accelarando during the preceding bars the durations happen to be comparable.
Even though my 2016 example looks different, when playing it this difference becomes acceptable. It's included in the 5th pdf version of this study and I don't want to create differences between versions, so in cases like this I leave the transcription as I had it first in too.
